CHENNAI: The first look of superstar Rajinikanth's next film with filmmaker AR Murugadoss has been titled ‘Darbar’, and its makers unveiled the first look poster on Tuesday.
Murugadoss took to Twitter to release the poster and also confirmed the film will release during Pongal festival in 2020.
“Here you go guys. The first look of our very own Thalaivar in Darbar”, Murugadoss tweeted.

It was splashed with paraphernalia attached to the police, including an IPS shoulder pin, police belt, police cap, a handcuff, couple of guns and a police dog. It is evident that Rajinikanth may play as a cop.
The first look also carried the photograph of Gateway of India in Mumbai, hinting that the story will have a Mumbai backdrop.
The poster also carried a catchy punchline "you decide whether you want me to be good bad or worse".
‘Darbar’ is the first tie-up between Rajinikanth and Murugadoss.
Nayantara is playing the leading lady in the film and Anirudh is coring the music for the film
As per the report, the film will be dubbed and released in Hindi and Telugu as well.
‘Darbar’ is produced by Lyca Productions and this would be the third outing for Lyca Productions with Rajinikanth after ‘Kaala’ and ‘2.0’.
